Acupuncture for Menstrual Health

Your menstrual cycle is one of the body’s most important vital signs, reflecting the health and balance of your hormones, nervous system, and overall wellbeing. Each cycle offers insight into what your body may need, whether that is more rest, nourishment, or support. When we begin to listen to the rhythms of our cycle with curiosity rather than frustration, we create space for healing and balance. Your body is always communicating with you, and with the right care and attention, your cycle can become a powerful guide toward deeper health and harmony.

“A balanced cycle is a reflection of a nourished and supported body.”

Step 3

New Patient Consultation

During your Consultation, you will spend dedicated one-on-one time with Dr. Sybil reviewing your medical history, intake form, and discussing your current health concerns and long-term goals.

Dr. Sybil will carefully assess your presentation and develop a personalized Acupuncture Care Plan tailored specifically to your body and needs. She will walk you through her findings and treatment recommendations, ensuring you feel informed, supported, and confident in your care.

Following the consultation, you will have the option to remain for your first Acupuncture treatment, allowing you to begin your healing journey immediately.

Acupuncture Education & Care Plan

During your second treatment, Dr. Sybil will provide you educational pieces supporting your diagnosis. This includes food therapy, herbal medicine prescriptions, supplements, and lifestyle recommendations. This visit is designed to provide all the tools you need to optimize your health goals. You will stay for an Acupuncture treatment.

In order to best support you, it is ideal to see your acupuncturist on a regular basis and consistency is key. When it comes to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, we understand that our bodies heal from the inside out and to meet your wellness goals, it is beneficial to have a regular long term relationship with your acupuncturist.

Re-Evaluation & Maintenance

After completing the initial Care Plan outlined by Dr. Sybil during your consultation, a re-evaluation will take place to assess your progress and how your body has responded to treatment. At that time, Dr. Sybil will guide you through the next phase of your care.

For some patients, this may mean continuing with regular acupuncture treatments to further support healing and balance. For others, it may be an opportunity to transition into a maintenance phase, where treatments are reduced to help sustain progress and support long-term wellness. Each plan is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and health goals, ensuring you continue to feel supported every step of the way.

Acupuncture Supporting Menstruation

Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine can be a powerful and natural way to support menstrual health. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the menstrual cycle reflects the balance and flow of Qi and Blood throughout the body. When this flow becomes disrupted, menstrual health becomes challenged.

Acupuncture works to restore balance by improving circulation, calming the nervous system, and supporting the body’s natural hormonal rhythms. With consistent care, many women notice more regulated cycles, reduced discomfort, and a greater sense of ease and connection with their bodies.
