Acupuncture for Dizziness and Vertigo

Experiencing dizziness or vertigo can feel incredibly unsettling. When the world suddenly feels off balance, it can create anxiety, frustration, and even fear about when the next episode might happen. Many people find it difficult to explain what they are feeling, whether it’s a spinning sensation, lightheadedness, pressure in the head, or a sense of instability. If you’ve been dealing with these symptoms, please know that you are not alone, and your experience deserves to be taken seriously.

At The Wellness Studio, we understand how disruptive dizziness and vertigo can be to daily life. Simple things like walking through a store, driving, or turning your head too quickly can suddenly feel overwhelming. During your visit, we take the time to listen closely to your symptoms, your health history, and the patterns your body is showing. Our goal is to help you feel supported and grounded while we work toward restoring balance within your body. You deserve care that honors both the physical and emotional impact of these symptoms.

“The body remembers how to stabilize—it sometimes just needs the right support.”

The Wellness Studio's Process

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

New Patient Consultation

During your Consultation, you will spend dedicated one-on-one time with Dr. Sybil reviewing your medical history, intake form, and discussing your current health concerns and long-term goals.

Dr. Sybil will carefully assess your presentation and develop a personalized Acupuncture Care Plan tailored specifically to your body and needs. She will walk you through her findings and treatment recommendations, ensuring you feel informed, supported, and confident in your care.

Following the consultation, you will have the option to remain for your first Acupuncture treatment, allowing you to begin your healing journey immediately.

Acupuncture Education & Care Plan

During your second treatment, Dr. Sybil will provide you educational pieces supporting your diagnosis. This includes food therapy, herbal medicine prescriptions, supplements, and lifestyle recommendations. This visit is designed to provide all the tools you need to optimize your health goals. You will stay for an Acupuncture treatment.

In order to best support you, it is ideal to see your acupuncturist on a regular basis and consistency is key. When it comes to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, we understand that our bodies heal from the inside out and to meet your wellness goals, it is beneficial to have a regular long term relationship with your acupuncturist.

Re-Evaluation & Maintenance

After completing the initial Care Plan outlined by Dr. Sybil during your consultation, a re-evaluation will take place to assess your progress and how your body has responded to treatment. At that time, Dr. Sybil will guide you through the next phase of your care.

For some patients, this may mean continuing with regular acupuncture treatments to further support healing and balance. For others, it may be an opportunity to transition into a maintenance phase, where treatments are reduced to help sustain progress and support long-term wellness. Each plan is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and health goals, ensuring you continue to feel supported every step of the way.

Acupuncture Easing Dizziness and Vertigo

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, dizziness and vertigo are often viewed as signs that the body’s internal balance has been disrupted. Common diagnoses may involve the Liver, Spleen, and Kidney systems, as well as the circulation of Qi, Blood, and fluids within the body. Stress, fatigue, digestion, hormonal changes, and inner ear imbalances can all contribute to these patterns.

Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points that help regulate the nervous system, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural equilibrium. As the body begins to rebalance, many patients experience a greater sense of stability, reduced episodes of dizziness, and an overall feeling of groundedness. Rather than only addressing the sensation itself, this approach supports the underlying systems that help the body maintain balance.

"I have spent the past year seeing ENTs, chiropractors, PTs, OTs, audiologists, PCPs and many other specialists trying to get rid of vertigo. I started seeing Dr Sybil and after about 3-4 treatments my vertigo has now been at bay for a month and a half."
