At The Wellness Studio, we provide compassionate, personalized support throughout your IUI and IVF journey. Using Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, we focus on preparing the body for conception by supporting hormonal balance, improving blood flow to the uterus and ovaries, and helping regulate the nervous system during what can often be a physically and emotionally demanding process.
Treatments are thoughtfully timed around your fertility protocol to help optimize outcomes while also offering a calming space for rest and restoration. Our goal is to walk alongside you through each stage, supporting your body, easing stress, and helping you feel grounded, cared for, and empowered throughout your fertility journey.
Acupuncture is a time-honored healing practice within Traditional Chinese Medicine that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and function. By stimulating specific points along the body’s energetic pathways, Acupuncture encourages circulation, regulates the nervous system, and promotes overall wellness from the inside out.
Both men and women can benefit from Acupuncture for fertility support. Treatments are personalized to address the root cause of symptoms rather than simply masking them, allowing the body to heal in a gentle yet powerful way. Many patients also find Acupuncture deeply relaxing, leaving sessions feeling calm, restored, and more connected to their health.
Studies have shown that Acupuncture can increase clinical pregnancy rates by 65% when used alongside IVF. It also helps reduce miscarriage rates, improve endometrial thickness, and lower stress levels during the fertility process.
These outcomes are most effective when Acupuncture treatment begins at least one to three months before an IUI or IVF cycle and continues through the transfer and early pregnancy.

01) New Patient Consultation
During your Consultation, you’ll spend dedicated one-on-one time with one of our Doctors reviewing your health history, intake form, current concerns, and long-term wellness goals.
Your Doctor will take the time to thoughtfully assess your unique presentation and develop a personalized Acupuncture Care Plan tailored specifically to your body, needs, and goals. We’ll walk you through our findings and recommendations, answer any questions you may have, and ensure you feel informed, supported, and confident moving forward with your care.
Following your Consultation, you can stay for your first Acupuncture treatment, allowing you to begin your care that same day.
02) Acupuncture Education & Care Plan
During your second treatment, your Doctor will spend time educating you on your individualized recommendations based on your diagnosis, presentation, and health goals. This may include food therapy, Chinese Herbal Medicine, supplements, and lifestyle recommendations designed to support your body and complement your Acupuncture care.
This visit is designed to provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to actively participate in your healing and optimize your health goals. You’ll also receive your Acupuncture treatment during this visit, allowing us to continue building on the foundation established during your Consultation.
To best support your health and wellness, consistency is key. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are rooted in the understanding that meaningful, lasting change takes time and that the body heals from the inside out. Establishing a consistent relationship with your Acupuncturist allows us to continually assess your progress, adapt your care as your needs change, and support you throughout each stage of your health journey.
03) Re-Evaluation & Maintenance
After completing the Care Plan outlined during your Consultation, you’ll complete a re-evaluation questionnaire to assess your progress, how your body has responded to treatment, and how you’re feeling overall. From there, your Doctor will guide you through the next phase of your care based on your individual needs and health goals.
For some patients, this may mean continuing with regular Acupuncture treatments to further support healing and progress. For others, it may be an opportunity to transition into a maintenance phase, with treatments spaced further apart to help sustain the progress you’ve made and support long-term wellness.
Your care is never one-size-fits-all. We’ll continue to thoughtfully adjust your treatment plan as your needs evolve, so you always know what’s next and feel supported throughout your health journey.

Acupuncture can help regulate fertility hormones that are in need of guidance. Hormone function is crucial for having a regular menstrual cycle, optimal ovarian function and uterine lining.
Promotes Blood Flow
Not only does Acupuncture help produce blood flow, but Acupuncture also directs the blood flow to the reproductive organs. For women, this helps boost the lining on the uterus to increase chances of implantation.
Regulate the Central Nervous System
Taking your body out of "fight or flight mode" is one of Acupunctures specialities. Having added stress or anxiety during your fertility journey and/or pregnancy is an item to cross off your list.

We believe the most supportive fertility care happens when integrative medicine and advanced reproductive medicine work together. Each Acupuncture treatment is intentionally timed to align with the phases of your medical cycle, allowing us to provide the most meaningful support at every step of your journey.
Leading up to your IUI or IVF treatment, our focus is on cultivating the strongest possible foundation for conception. This often includes improving sperm quality when needed, nourishing egg quality, regulating hormones, and supporting the development of a healthy, receptive uterine lining.
Once medications begin, our treatments gently shift to preparing the uterus for implantation, supporting optimal receptivity, and calming the nervous system. Fertility treatment can ask a lot of the body, and our goal is to create a space where you can feel grounded, supported, and deeply cared for throughout the process.
The Wellness Studio proudly works closely with CCRM, allowing us to thoughtfully support patients who are undergoing advanced fertility care while providing a calm, restorative environment to complement their medical treatment.
