Acupuncture for Headaches
and Migraines

If you struggle with headaches or migraines, please know that your experience is real and valid. Living with recurring head pain can feel exhausting, frustrating, and sometimes isolating—especially when it disrupts work, family life, or the simple ability to enjoy your day. Many patients share that they feel dismissed or told to simply “push through,” but your pain deserves attention, understanding, and thoughtful care.

“When energy flows freely, the head and mind can finally feel light again.”

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, headaches and migraines are often understood as patterns of imbalance within the body, commonly involving the Liver, circulation of Qi and Blood, or tension within the nervous system. Stress, hormonal shifts, digestion, sleep patterns, and lifestyle can all influence these internal pathways.

Acupuncture works by gently stimulating specific points on the body to improve circulation, regulate the nervous system, and restore the smooth flow of Qi. As balance returns, many patients notice less tension, fewer headache episodes, and improved resilience to triggers. Rather than simply masking symptoms, this approach focuses on supporting the body from the inside out.

The Wellness Studio proudly serves Victoria, CarverChaska, Chanhassen, Minnetonka, Excelsior, Waconia and surrounding communities.

"I am incredibly pleased at the positive impact that acupuncture has had on my well-being. I had been dealing with severe migraines up to 15 days per month before trying acupuncture. After a few months of consistent treatment I've experienced a remarkable improvement; my migraines are much less severe and the treatment has significantly reduced the number of headache days per month and I feel much better overall.

Sybil is very welcoming, down to earth, and makes visits comfortable and relaxing. She does an excellent job listening to my needs and recommending treatment. I would highly recommend her and The Wellness Studio for your headache relief needs!"

Acupuncture for Digestive Health

Digestive concerns can be deeply uncomfortable and, at times, discouraging. When your digestion isn’t working the way it should, your symptoms can affect much more than your stomach. They can influence your energy, mood, sleep, and overall sense of well-being. Many patients share that digestive issues make them feel frustrated, self-conscious, or unsure about what foods will make them feel better or worse.

At The Wellness Studio, we understand that digestive health is a vital foundation for the entire body. Your symptoms are not something you simply have to “live with,” and they deserve careful attention and compassionate care. During your visits, we take the time to listen to your experience and look at the patterns your body is expressing. Our goal is to support your digestion in a gentle, restorative way so that eating can feel nourishing again and your body can absorb the nutrients it needs to thrive.

“The digestive system is the body’s foundation—support it, and the whole body benefits.”

Acupuncture Easing Digestive Health

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, digestion is considered one of the central pillars of health. The Spleen and Stomach systems are responsible for transforming food into Qi and Blood, the vital substances that nourish the entire body. When these systems become weakened or overwhelmed, symptoms can occur.

  • Acid Reflux & Heartburn

  • Bloating

  • Constipation

  • Diarrhea / Loose Stools

  • IBS & IBD

  • Nausea & Vomiting

  • Stomach Pain

Acupuncture helps support digestive function by regulating the nervous system, improving circulation to the digestive organs, and encouraging the smooth movement of Qi throughout the body. The Wellness Studio also uses TCM Food Therapy to improve digestive and other conditions.

The Wellness Studio proudly serves Victoria, CarverChaska, Chanhassen, Minnetonka, Excelsior, Waconia and surrounding communities!

"I've been going to The Wellness Studio in Victoria for about 4 months and can say that acupuncture has had a tremendously positive impact on my life. Sybil's space in Victoria is beautiful and relaxing. She takes ample time to listen to what's going on before explaining her treatment plan. She is warm and engaging, and a real healer who always seems to be in tune with what my body needs. I'm able to reach a state of relaxation during my appointments I am unable to reach with any other modality. My sessions with Sybil are restorative for my body and mind, and I look forward to every appointment!"

Acupuncture for Dizziness
and Vertigo

Experiencing dizziness or vertigo can feel incredibly unsettling. When the world suddenly feels off balance, it can create anxiety, frustration, and even fear about when the next episode might happen. Many people find it difficult to explain what they are feeling, whether it’s a spinning sensation, lightheadedness, pressure in the head, or a sense of instability. If you’ve been dealing with these symptoms, please know that you are not alone, and your experience deserves to be taken seriously.

At The Wellness Studio, we understand how disruptive dizziness and vertigo can be to daily life. Simple things like walking through a store, driving, or turning your head too quickly can suddenly feel overwhelming. During your visit, we take the time to listen closely to your symptoms, your health history, and the patterns your body is showing. Our goal is to help you feel supported and grounded while we work toward restoring balance within your body. You deserve care that honors both the physical and emotional impact of these symptoms.

“The body remembers how to stabilize—it sometimes just needs the right support.”

Acupuncture Easing Dizziness and Vertigo

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, dizziness and vertigo are often viewed as signs that the body’s internal balance has been disrupted. Common diagnoses may involve the Liver, Spleen, and Kidney systems, as well as the circulation of Qi, Blood, and fluids within the body. Stress, fatigue, digestion, hormonal changes, and inner ear imbalances can all contribute to these patterns.

Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points that help regulate the nervous system, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural equilibrium. As the body begins to rebalance, many patients experience a greater sense of stability, reduced episodes of dizziness, and an overall feeling of groundedness. Rather than only addressing the sensation itself, this approach supports the underlying systems that help the body maintain balance.

"I have spent the past year seeing ENTs, chiropractors, PTs, OTs, audiologists, PCPs and many other specialists trying to get rid of vertigo. I started seeing Dr Sybil and after about 3-4 treatments my vertigo has now been at bay for a month and a half."

Acupuncture for Pain

Living with pain can be exhausting... physically, emotionally, and mentally. Whether your pain is new or something you’ve been managing for years, it can affect how you move through your day, how well you sleep, and even how you feel in your own body. Many people living with chronic or recurring pain share that they feel misunderstood or that others underestimate how much it impacts their daily life. If you’re experiencing pain, please know that your experience is valid and deserving of thoughtful care.

At The Wellness Studio, we believe pain should never be dismissed or minimized. Your body is communicating something important, and our role is to listen carefully and help uncover the deeper patterns contributing to your discomfort. During your visits, we take time to understand your symptoms, lifestyle, and health history so that your care feels personalized and supportive. Our goal is not only to help ease pain, but also to help you feel more comfortable, capable, and at ease within your body again.

“Acupuncture creates space for the body to release what it has been holding.”

Acupuncture Easing Pain

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, pain is often understood as a disruption in the smooth flow of Qi and Blood throughout the body. When circulation becomes blocked or stagnant (due to injury, stress, inflammation, or overuse) pain can arise. Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points that help restore movement, improve circulation, and calm the nervous system. This process encourages the body’s natural healing response and can reduce inflammation, muscle tension, and discomfort.

By addressing the underlying imbalance rather than simply masking symptoms, acupuncture supports the body in finding relief and restoring a greater sense of ease and mobility.
