Financial & Payment Policy
The Wellness Studio is not in-network with any health insurance companies, and we do not bill insurance (health insurance, auto, or worker’s comp) for services provided. If your insurance company covers acupuncture services, we are happy to provide you with a receipt or invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
The Wellness Studio gladly accepts HSA and FSA cards. Additional forms of payment accepted include: cash, checks, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express). Payments are due at the time of service. Please make checks payable to The Wellness Studio.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Your session time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled session time. Changes can be made online using the link in your confirmation email, by calling us at 952-491-0588 or sending an email to email@example.com.
All sessions (including new patient and membership sessions) that need to be cancelled or rescheduled with less than a 24 hour notice will be charged $59 to the card on file.
All sessions (including new patient and membership sessions) that need to be cancelled or rescheduled with less than a 2 hour notice, will be charged the full cost of the regular session ($89) to the card on file. This includes missed sessions ("no shows").
Please remember that, as a small business owner, my schedule doesn't allow me time to find another patient to take your short notice cancellation, so this appointment time will typically go un-used.
Exceptions will be made for late cancellation or rescheduling for the following reasons:
Medical or family emergencies
Cancellation due COVID-19 symptoms or diagnosis
Bad weather with local school closure
Sessions are considered cancelled and forfeited 20 minutes after the session time without advance notice and charged to the card on file per the policy. Please call or text 952-491-0588 if you are running late (so I don't worry about you!)
Acupuncture Membership Policy
The Acupuncture Membership is a monthly subscription of $149 per month (auto payment with card on file).
You receive 2 (60 minute) acupuncture sessions to use each month.
Auto payments are withdrawn and acupuncture sessions restart on the day of the month you sign up on.
(ex: if you sign up on January 1st, you need to use your two sessions by February 1st)
If you do not use your two sessions during that time frame, the sessions are lost.
Auto payments continue until you notify Sybil (firstname.lastname@example.org) with a 30 cancellation notice.
Membership sessions cannot be shared with other members or transferred to other patients.
The Cancellation Policy is in place for Membership Session(s)
With the Acupuncture Membership, members are able to add additional sessions for a discounted rate ($79 per acupuncture sessions). Members are able to add Cupping (+$30) and Gua Sha (+$20) to sessions as well.
