Acupuncture originated in China and has been in practice for thousands of years. Acupuncture is a form of holistic medicine which regulates disharmonies within the mind and body. Thin, single use, sterilized acupuncture needles are inserted into the skin. Specific acupuncture points are selected based off of the patient's presenting symptoms. Acupuncture also treats the root cause(s) of the presenting symptoms, focusing on the body as a whole.

There are 12 Meridians that represent each organ in the body. These meridians are dispersed throughout the body and house the acupuncture points. Each acupuncture point has its own unique function as well. Based on your symptoms, specific acupuncture points are selected for your treatment.

The Wellness Studio offers session on a treatment table or reclined in our heated zero gravity chair.

"My young adult son began seeing Sybil this past winter. Main complaint: anxiety and depression. Sybil was kind and empathetic. After his very first experience he could feel an immediate difference. He has continued with treatment and goes twice per month. The change in his mood and demeanor is amazing. Her rates are very reasonable, she is incredibly pleasant to work with, and the results are more than I could have hoped for. Of course, every situation is different, but I highly recommend seeing Sybil for any ailment you are dealing with. The body has an incredible God-given capacity to heal when it can function properly. I also love that Sybil has a scripture verse in her office. However, regardless of your faith background - I have no doubt that you will be welcomed here!

I am so grateful for The Wellness Studio!"

All Initial Sessions

During your Initial Acupuncture Session, you will have a 1:1 with Sybil to discuss your health goals, review your medical history and intake form. Following this, you will receive your first acupuncture treatment. Before your sessions comes to an end, Sybil will walk you through your personalized Recommended Continued Care Plan with financial treatment options.

Pediatric Session

Depending on your childs age, Pediatric Acupuncture Sessions can use thin acupuncture needles or choose an alternative method to their treatment. Alternative options are Acupressure or a Tuning Fork. A Tuning Fork is a metal tool what creates a vibrations. We use the vibration on acupuncture points to create a stimulation vs using a needle.

You'll come back for your second free session and receive your second treatment. Afterwards, if you would like to  move forward from here, you may choose one of our payment options.
