Acupuncture
Acupuncture originated in China and has been in practice for thousands of years. Acupuncture is a form of holistic medicine which regulates disharmonies within the mind and body. Thin, single use, sterilized acupuncture needles are inserted into the skin. Specific acupuncture points are selected based off of the patient's presenting symptoms. Acupuncture also treats the root cause(s) of the presenting symptoms, focusing on the body as a whole.

There are 12 Meridians that represent each organ in the body. These meridians are dispersed throughout the body and house the acupuncture points. Each acupuncture point has its own unique function as well. Based on your symptoms, specific acupuncture points are selected for your treatment.

"I was an acupuncture newbie when I started going to Wellness Studio last September. Sybil helped put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable at my first few sessions. Now I look forward to them as one of the highlights of my month! Sybil is great at going over any health and wellness concerns and customizing each session to what I have going on at that time. I would highly recommend Wellness Studio to anyone!"
